Our Trip to the South Island

After 6 months working in Auckland and just hearing and reading about the beauty of NZ we finally started our first trip to the south island.

We spend Cristmas with Dale & Rich in Nelson (we still are gratefull that they invited us knowing that we would be coming with our 2 little boys Benjamin (21 months) and Julien (13 months)

absolute highlights of our trip were the golden sands of Abel Tasman where we watched the seals and were the freezing water is the only thing that reminds you that you are not in the carribean...

the breathtaking scenery of Kaikoroa where the snowy mountains meet the sea admiring seals, bottlenose dolphins and amazing whales.....
